25. that the punishment of God may not be in vain. Then shall children be slain with their mothers, and sons with their fathers. And when the punishment of the Lord of spirits shall continue, upon them shall it continue, that the punishment of the Lord of spirits may not take place in vain. After that, judgment shall exist with mercy and longsuffering.

When the punishments from the Lord of the spirits shall rest over them it will rest, so that the punishments from the Lord of the spirits may not come in vain over those; after that there will be a judgment in his mercy and his patience."

When the punishment of the Lord of Spirits shall rest upon them, it shall rest in order that the punishment of the Lord of Spirits may not come, in vain, and it shall slay the children with their mothers and the children with their fathers. Afterwards the judgement shall take place according to His mercy and His patience.'

på det Guds straff icke må blifva förgäfves. Då skola barnen blifva slagne med deras mödrar, och sönerna med sina fäder. Och när Andarnes Herres straff skall fortfara; skall det fortfara på dem; på det Andarnes Herres straff icke måte vara förgäfves. Efter detta skall domen ske med nåd och långmodighet.

När andarnas Herres straffdom kommer, skall den förblifva öfver dem, att den icke må vara förgäves. Sedan skall domen äga rum efter hans barmhärtighet och tålamod.
